Ansmann Battery Charger Basic 4

• Charges AA and AAA NiMH cells: The charger accepts 1-4 AA or AAA rechargeable batteries, making it practical for everyday household electronics, flashlights and other devices that use the most common battery sizes.
• Microprocessor-controlled charging: Intelligent charge management helps the Basic 4 handle cells more consistently, which is useful for routine charging without the guesswork of a simple unmanaged charger.
• USB-powered operation: With a 5V DC input and included USB cable, the charger is easy to power from common USB sources, which simplifies travel and reduces the need for a dedicated wall charger.
• Automatic charge current adaptation: The charger adjusts its charging behavior to the inserted cells, helping provide a straightforward charging process for mixed everyday use.
• Compact entry-level design: Its small footprint and light weight make it easy to keep on a desk, in a drawer or in a travel kit, while still covering the basic needs of regular rechargeable battery users.

About the Basic Series

The ANSMANN Basic series is positioned as an accessible range of battery chargers for users who want dependable everyday charging without moving into more advanced analyzer or multi-mode charger categories. These models focus on the essentials: support for common rechargeable cell formats, straightforward operation and a compact design that fits easily into home, office or travel use. In the ANSMANN lineup, the series serves as a practical starting point for people using AA and AAA NiMH batteries in devices such as flashlights, remotes, toys and portable electronics.

What distinguishes the series is its emphasis on simple handling combined with core protective charging functions rather than a long list of specialist features. USB input on this family adds flexibility for modern power sources, while the compact housing keeps the charger easy to store and transport. The design philosophy is clearly functional: provide a reliable charger for common battery sizes, keep operation uncomplicated and include the accessories needed to begin using rechargeable batteries right away. That makes the Basic series well suited to users who want a straightforward charger from an established battery and charging specialist.

About the Ansmann Battery Charger Basic 4

The Ansmann Battery Charger Basic 4 is a compact charger built for users who need a simple way to keep common rechargeable batteries ready for daily use. It charges 1-4 NiMH cells in AA / HR6 or AAA / HR03 sizes, which makes it a practical fit for torches, small electronics and other battery-powered equipment that relies on standard cylindrical cells. Because it uses a 5V DC USB input, it integrates easily into modern charging setups and can be powered from widely available USB sources.

Its charging concept is aimed at straightforward, routine use rather than advanced battery analysis. Microprocessor control, a safety timer and overload protection support controlled charging, while the charger’s automatic charge current adaptation helps simplify operation for everyday users. The included set of 4× AA NiMH rechargeable batteries means the unit is ready to go straight out of the box, which is especially useful for anyone moving from disposable cells to a rechargeable system.

Physically, the charger stays easy to place and carry thanks to its compact housing and low weight. The white body keeps the design clean and unobtrusive on a desk or shelf, while the small dimensions make it suitable for travel kits and general household storage. Overall, the Basic 4 focuses on convenience, compatibility and uncomplicated charging for the battery sizes most people use most often.
