AD Scout QD scope mount, 2˝ offset, 40mm

1. Optimised Eye Relief via Cantilever Design: The AD Scout QD scope mount is meticulously engineered with a 50.8 mm (2 inch) forward offset. This cantilever design is crucial for AR-type rifles, ensuring that the scope is positioned correctly to achieve optimal eye relief, preventing the user from 'cramping' their neck and providing a natural shooting posture. It clears any forward iron sights or accessories mounted on the handguard.

2. Rapid Deployment with Quick Detach System: Featuring American Defense's proprietary Auto Lock™ QD lever system, this mount allows for lightning-fast installation and removal of your optic without the need for tools. Crucially, it boasts 100% return-to-zero repeatability, meaning your scope will hold its calibration even after multiple detachments and reattachments – a significant advantage for hunters and tactical users who may need to quickly swap optics or clean their firearm.

3. Unyielding Strength from Aerospace Aluminium: Constructed from a solid block of 6061 T6 aerospace-grade aluminium, the AD Scout mount offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. This robust material, combined with precise CNC-machining, guarantees integrity and resilience against the harshest environmental conditions and recoil forces. It contributes to the mount's overall stability and long-term reliability for demanding applications.

4. Integrated Recoil Management for Zero Retention: The mount incorporates recoil lugs that positively engage with the grooves of your Picatinny rail. This critical feature prevents any forward or backward movement of the mount under the intense recoil generated by high-powered rifles, thereby safeguarding your zero. This steadfast retention provides peace of mind and consistent accuracy, especially vital for precision shooting and hunting.
