AD Rail Mount Hand Stop Black - Mod 3

• Compact hand indexing point: The Mod 3 hand stop gives the support hand a repeatable reference on the rail, helping the shooter return to the same grip position for steadier control and more consistent weapon handling.
• Lightweight aluminum construction: Built from aluminium and weighing only 17.00 g, it adds control without noticeably increasing front-end weight, which helps preserve balance on compact or fast-handling rifle setups.
• Made in the USA: American Defense builds this accessory in the USA, reflecting the company’s focus on domestically made firearm accessories for hard field and range use.
• Rail-mounted versatility: Designed as a rail-mounted accessory for mounts and firearm setups, it provides a simple way to improve indexing and hand placement without the bulk of a vertical grip.
• Low-profile control aid: A hand stop offers a more streamlined alternative to larger fore-end accessories, making it well suited to rifles that need better control around barricades, in vehicles, or on compact builds.

About the AD Accessories Series

American Defense’s AD Accessories series covers a broad group of rail components and firearm accessories built to complement the company’s mounting systems. The range includes light mounts, bipod mounts, rail components, and other support accessories, giving shooters a consistent hardware family for configuring rifles across duty, competition, hunting, and recreational roles. Rather than focusing on optics alone, the series extends the same practical design approach into the small parts that shape how a rifle carries, handles, and interfaces with the shooter.

Within the wider American Defense lineup, the series sits alongside the company’s quick-detach optic mounts and related firearm hardware. The design philosophy emphasizes durable materials, straightforward function, and compatibility with modern rifle setups. American Defense describes these products as serving law enforcement, military, competition, hunting, and recreational users, which explains the series’ emphasis on compact dimensions, dependable construction, and rail-based adaptability. For shooters building a practical carbine or refining a precision setup, the AD Accessories family provides the supporting components that improve control and usability without unnecessary bulk.

About the AD Rail Mount Hand Stop Black - Mod 3

The AD Rail Mount Hand Stop Black - Mod 3 is a compact control accessory for shooters who want a more defined support-hand position on a railed firearm. Instead of adding the size of a full vertical grip, this hand stop creates a clear indexing point that helps the hand settle in the same place each time the rifle is mounted. In practice, that means more consistent leverage during rapid strings, better control when driving the rifle between targets, and a more secure feel when pulling the firearm back into the shoulder.

Its 17.00 g weight keeps the accessory unobtrusive, which matters on carbines and other front-sensitive builds where extra mass can change handling. The aluminium construction supports hard use while keeping the profile trim, making it suitable for rifles that need to stay compact around barricades, slings, lights, and other rail-mounted equipment. The black finish and restrained shape also help it integrate cleanly into modern tactical or sporting setups without creating unnecessary snag points.

As part of the American Defense accessory range, the Mod 3 fits the needs of shooters who prefer a simple, durable hand-placement aid over larger fore-end accessories. It is especially useful where repeatable grip placement matters, whether for practical shooting, training, hunting rifles with accessory rails, or general-purpose carbines that benefit from improved front-end control.
