With it’s fairly powerful 10x magnification and compact and lightweight body, this great binoculars from Vixen are perfect for the hiker or traveller visiting an area with wide open spaces along the coast or in the hills or mountains where distances to your objects of interest like large wildlife, eagles or seabirds is generally greater than what you would normally encounter in a forest or back garden for example.

Whilst the small lenses enable the compact shape and low weight, the downside to this is that with an exit pupil that is only 2.5mm wide, these binoculars are best used in good light conditions during daylight hours.

Both the minimum focus distance of only 1 meter and the eye relief of 18 millimeters are excellent making these Vixen Atrek binoculars a suitable choice for both eyeglass wearers and those wanting to observe nature at a very close range.
