The 8x32 configuration from Vixen is the classic setup for an easy to carry and transport instrument for the birder and wildlife observer who also demands a good image quality and acceptable low light performance.

Whilst slightly bigger and heavier than the 25mm compacts, the advantage of the larger lenses is that they able to capture more light and thus will produce a brighter image and will perform better in low light situations. This is something to consider if you will often be operating in dimly lit forests, at sunrise or approaching sunset.

These binoculars have a very good minimum focus distance which extends their use to pastimes like flower and butterfly observation.
