Zeiss is one of the oldest optics manufactures in the world. They first started to produce sport optics in 1928 and by the 1970 the production of high-quality cameras started. Today they are famous for their high-end sport optics and innovative technologies. Zeiss Terra 3X series was designed for all those people who wanted to own a Zeiss' riflescope but didn't want to pay more than 600 € for it. Zeiss moved the production of Terra 3X series to Japan, to reduce the expenses, hence the price is so low.
There are three models in this series: 2-7x32, 3-9x42 and 4-12x50.
4-12x50 is a long-range riflescope from the Terra 3X series. It offers 3x zoom and 4x minimal magnification.
Zeiss Terra 3X riflescopes are of the second focal plane (SFP) type, meaning that the reticle is of the same size at any magnification. They pack powerful, uncompromising optical performance into a lightweight, yet compact design.
There are 3 different reticles to choose from:
The main tube diameter is 25.4 mm. Riflescope has matte black aluminum housing and MC anti reflective coatings that provide good light transmission. The parallax is set at 91 m. The riflescope features capped turrets which are good for hunting. There is no Zero-lock mechanism and the reticle is not illuminated. The clicks are in minutes of angle (1 click = 1/4 MOA).
All Terra 3X binoculars are covered with 10 years of warranty.
