Weaver Tactical is the most advanced rifle scopes series of Weaver since they are designed for use in harsh environment, on weapons with strong recoil such as the .50 BMG. There are currently 5 different rifle scopes available in this series, everyone for a different purpose.

All rifle scopes from this series feature fully multi-coated lenses to maximize the light transmission, and to improve the picture quality with more contrast and resolution. The main tube is made from a single piece of aluminum for a more rugged construction, and the clamping diameter of these scopes is 30 millimeters or 34 millimeters, depending on the model. For this diameters, many mounting solutions are available for any kind of weapon platform.

The turrets are exposed tactical, so the user can quickly make elevation and windage corrections, depending on the distance he is shooting. All rifle scopes from this series (except the two wide-angle rifle scopes, 1-5x24 and 1-7x24) feature a side parallax adjustment to focus on targets that are at different distances. The clicks are in 1/4 MOA or in 0.1 MIL, and the reticle is set in the first focal plane. This means, the reticle changes the size simultaneously with the magnification, so the lines or the dots in the reticle are always the same distance away to the observed objects. This is very useful for calculating the distance, making windage or elevation corrections without clicking the turret. In this series are illuminated and non-illuminated reticle options, which depends on the model.

The entire housing is filled with argon to prevent internal fogging of the lenses, so these scopes can be used in any weather. Because of the sealing, these rifle scopes are also waterproof. The warranty on these products is 10 years.
