Leupold VX-3i LRP (Long Range Precision) rifle scopes are, like the VX-3i, also 3 times zoom factor rifle scopes. The major difference is in the turrets, because in this series of rifle scopes, all feature exposed tactical turrets for quick elevation or windage adjustment. These turrets have a zero stop function, so you can't make the mistake and go under the zero.

Currently there are 3 models available, all with a big maximum magnifications, meant for long range shooting. These rifle scopes can be ordered either with the reticle set in the first focal plane (reticle size changes with magnification) or in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with magnification), or even the clicks in MOA or MIL. The reticle will be always matched. All reticles are non-illuminated.

All models in this series are made in a durable 30 mm main tube, that is made from a single piece aluminum. The housing is filled with argon to prevent internal fogging at low temperatures, and all rifle scopes are shockproof for any caliber. The Twin Bias Spring Erector System helps to hold the Erector in place in any situation.

For low light performance Leupold made the Twilight Max Light Management System, and DiamondCoat 2 coatings on the outer lenses for higher light transmission and additional abrasive protection. All models have also a 50 mm objective lens, what also helps with the light transmission.

The fast focus eye-piece is lockable with a ring, and all models have a throw-lever for quick magnification change, and a side parallax adjustment turret. In the box, all models come with a Windage Dial Thread Protector.
