Leupold VX-2 rifle scopes have a 3 times zoom ratio and a 1-inch main tube. This makes these rifle scope very light-weight and compact in design. The main tube is made from a single piece aluminum, so they can withstand also all hunting situations. The main tube is filled with argon to prevent internal fogging at low temperatures, it is entirely waterproof and shockproof for even the strongest calibers. The housing is filed with argon, so no internal fogging can occur at low temperatures. All lenses are fully multi-coated to ensure a good image quality, better sharpness and more light transmission.

All rifle scopes from this series are non-illuminated, and have fixed parallax at 100 yards (91 meters). The reticle is set in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with magnification) so it doesn's cover a lot of the target at bigger magnifications.The turrets are capped low-profile, and the magnification ring is inclined towards your eyes so you easily see the magnification you are in.

All rifle scopes include bikini-style lens covers for even more protection of the scope.
