Leupold Mark 6 rifle scopes are, like the Mark 8 series, tactical rifle scopes designed for military or professional marksmen use. These rifle scopes feature 6 times zoom ratio, and come like the Mark 8 series, only in 2 zoom ranges. The reticle in all models is set in the first focal plane (reticle size changes with magnification) for easier hold over or windage adjustments.

These rifle scopes are made from a single piece aluminum for extra strength and feature a big 34 mm main tube construction to withstand the harshest abuse. Leupold Mark 6 rifle scopes are totally waterproof and shockproof for even the strongest magnum calibers like the .50 BMG, and are nitrogen purged for a fogproof use at low temperatures. All rifle scopes from this series have fully multi-coated lenses with the DiamondCoat2™ coating for good light transmission, and with the Xtended Twilight Lens System, you'll get best possible edge-to-edge clarity on the entire magnification range.

All Mark 6 rifle scopes have a locking fast-focus eyepiece, so as you once set your diopter setting, you lock it, and you don't need to worry that you accidentally move your adjustment. This is a really nice feature to have, and not many rifle scopes have this option.

All rifle scopes from this series are extremely light-weight and very compact in size. This makes these rifle scopes perfect for lighter weapon systems, or rifles where you want good magnification but doesn't want sacrifice in additional the weight.

The smaller, wide-angle model, Leupold Mark 6 1-6x20 is a rifle scope made for CQB (Close Quater Battle) or mid-range scenarios, but with the highest magnification of 6 times, you can easily engage targets out till a couple of hundred meters. This rifle scope features ZeroLock&trade turrets, that lock at zero to prevent unintentional dialing. The parallax on this model is fixed, and all available reticles are illuminated.

The bigger model, Leupold Mark 6 3-18x44 rifle scope is a great engineering piece, with 6 times zoom range this scope weights only 670 grams, and comes in a very short construction of only 302mm. This rifle scope can be ordered in 2 versions, with the M5B2 Auto-Locking Pinch and Turn elevation turret, or with the low-profile M5C2 ZeroLock™ turret. The M5B2 turret is locked at any adjustment, and the M5C2 is locked only on the zero adjustment. Both can be adjusted with a push of a button. Both options feature also a side parallax adjustment, but the model with the M5B2 turret has illuminated reticles, and the M5C2 model is non-illuminated. The click value on these rifle scopes is 0.1 mrad (1cm/100meters), but BDC rings can be ordered that are engraved on your ballistic curve (only M5B2 model)
