The difference between these scopes begin with a bigger main tube diameter, that is by this models 30 mm. These rifle scopes have also exposed tactical turrets for quick elevation and windage adjustment. The turrets are lockable and easy resetable, and the reticle, that is located in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with magnification) is etched into one lens so it can withstand more recoil.

All Hawke Airmax 30 SF rifle scopes feature a side parrallax adjustment turret, that has a big ring for very precise parallax adjustment, that goes from 9 meters to infinity. All rifle scopes from this series are made from a single piece aluminum tube, for more strenght and reliabability. The magnification ring is rubberized for better grip, and all models feature reticle illumination, with a stepless brightness control located on the top of the ocular. These rifle scopes have 4 times zoom ratio, are waterproof, shockproof and nitrogen purged for fogproof use at low temperatures.
