Burris Four X rifle scopes were first introduced on IWA Outdoor classic 2016 in Germany. These rifle scopes are a good entry level for hunters who seek good quality rifle scope for a decent price. With the HiLume-StormCoat fully multi coated lenses these scopes offer good light transmission, contrast and immage quality. Burris Four X rifle scopes come with 4 times zoom range, 4A reticle with illumination (10 intensity settings) for day light and night time use, positioned in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with magnification) and the turrets are capped for more protection against accidentally movement.

Only the Burris Four X 3-12x56 Long Range model has an exposed elevation ballistic turret, that has markings for different distances, and 5 caps for different calibers or bullet drops. 

The magnification ring is easy usable with gloves, and goes in 180 degree turn from minimal to maximal magnification. Burris Four X rifle scopes are made of one piece aircraft grade aluminum for extra strength, and the mounting diameter is 30 mm.  All rifle scopes from the Four X series are also waterproof and nitrogen purged for fog proof use at low temperatures. These scopes also feature a battery saving mode with automatic shutdown after 2 hours of no usage, and long eye relief from 8.9 to 10.2 cm depending on the model.
