Hunting wild boars on battue, driven hunts or when stalking in dense forest demands a rifle scope with real 1x magnification (no magnification at all) and wide field of view. Docter Unipoint 1-4x24 offers exactly that and enables both eyes open aiming. This way the hunter has a full natural field of view and great control of any situation. Even when the situation becomes hectic and chaotic with this scope you have a great advantage because of its real 1x magnification and day bright illuminated “red dot”. However Docter Unipoint 1-4x24 rifle scope is much more than a “red dot” sight since it offers magnification range up to power 4x. At the highest magnification accurate shots on longer distances are possible and this is a distinct advantage over conventional “red dots”.
Docter Unipoint scopes have a very sophisticated illumination system with unique features only found by these scope. Illumination can be set in continuous – stepless fashion from intensity levels suitable for low light use and up to the super-bright levels for day time use. The intensity itself grows exponentially as shown in the graph bellow so that over or under-illumination of the reticle can never happen. Illumination intensity is controlled with a Docter Tipcontrol button that is easy to use even with gloves and at low temperature. How the system works is explained in the following VIDEO. The system also has memory function and automatic turn off function.
Unipoint reticles are also very unique since the reticle bars are places in the first focal plane - FFP of the scope and the dot in the second focal plane – SFP. This FFP-SFP reticle is very suitable for driven hunts at 1x (thin bars and bigger dot) and precise shots at 4x (thick bars and very fine dot).
Docter Unipoint 1-4x24 scope has to be mounted on a rifle with a 30 mm ring mounts. This rifle scope is also availbe for mounting with Docter Z rail.
