Airgun scopes are designed to withstand reverse recoil of a spring. Reverse recoil puts more pressure on the rifle than recoil of any caliber, even Safari Magnums, which is why a manufacturer has to include in the specifications whether the riflescope is constructed to withstand such recoil or not. This is especially important to consider when looking for a riflescope in the entry price class, because the more expensive ones are more likely to withstand the recoil of a spring. One of the cheapest riflescopes available, designed specially for airgun rifles, is Hawke Airmax (even the least expensive in this category withstand reverse recoil). There are all sorts of airgun scopes on the market: cheap, expensive, with different magnifications etc.
