The Bergara company originates from the Spanish town Bergara. The company is known around the world as one of the finest barrel manufacturers. This acknowledgement goes, to a large extent, to Ed Shilen, a legendary barrel designer from the U.S., who was Chief Instructor for the United States Marine Corps Precision Weapons Section, as he helped Bergara set up a factory that would produce high-quality barrels with low production costs. They produce firearms of different designs and for different fields of use, along with various accessories and outdoor equipment. They quickly found their place on the market thanks to great quality and affordable prices. Altogether, they have more than 50 distributors, which means their products are easily acquirable throughout the world, especially in Europe.
Bergara BA13 is a single shot break barrel rifle. It is known for its takedown system, which enables simple assembly and disassembly, without the need for any kind of tools.
The rifle is available in ordinary stock and thumbhole stock. The barrel is available in 42, 46 and 51 cm (16.5, 18 and 20 in) lengths.

Bergara BA13 rifles usually come with pre-installed Picatinny rails, but the rail is screwed into the receiver, so it can be unscrewed and replaced.

Bergara BA13 has exactly the same mounting surface as Bergara Scout, so mounts for BA13 will also fit Scout and vice versa.
To install mounts on this rifle, we would recommend to first install a Picatinny rail, as the supply for the bare mounting surface for this rifle is very limited.
There are no fixed mounts named specifically for Bergara BA13, but the mounting surface of Bergara Scout is exactly the same, so mounts named for Bergara Scout will also fit on Bergara BA13. The only fixed mounts for this rifle are Contessa QR mounts.
Picatinny rail is installed on top of the steel barrel, therefore the perfect Picatinny rail for this rifle would be a steel one because of mechanical reasons. Rusan Picatinny rail would be a good choice for this rifle because it is made of steel.
