Antonio Zoli s.r.l. was founded immediately after World War II in 1945 by Antonio Zoli. The company soon grew into one of the most relevant industrial activities in the area thanks to Antonio’s gunsmithing skills and his son’s marketing skills. In the early 1960s the Antonio Zoli brand was already known and appreciated not only for the quality but also for the uniqueness of the guns produced, which could be told apart from other traditional Italian guns available at that time. Antonio Zoli was the first Italian company which could compete with the most famous European rifles manufacturers, which were at that time mostly from Germany and Austria.
Antonio Zoli 1900, introduced in 1989 is based on Husqvarna 1900 rifle, which was famous for its frame and bolt made of solid block of steel, very fluid action and crisp trigger pull. Antonio Zoli even improved some aspects of that rifle and the product of this effort is a rifle of great quality, set at affordable prices. The rifle barrel is available in 53cm (21’’), 60cm (24’’), or 65cm (25.5’’) length.

The mounting surface on the receiver is rounded, with 2 mounting holes at the front mounting surface and 2 mounting holes at the rear mounting surface. The front mounting surface is higher than the rear mounting surface.

One rifle with the exactly same receiver is Husqvarna 1900 and the mounts are interchangeable between these two rifles.
The other rifle with very similar mounting surface to these two rifles is Carl Gustaf 1900. One small difference between Carl Gustaf 1900 and the other two rifles is the 0.1mm difference in BHU (height difference; visible on the image above). The BHU of Antonio Zoli and Husqvarna is 2.5mm, whereas the BHU of Carl Gustaf stands at 2.4mm. Consequently, one piece and two piece mounts are interchangeable between these rifles, because 0.1 mm difference doesn’t affect shooting accuracy too much.
There is not a lot of choice for fixed mounts for this rifle and this one is one of those few that fit.
