Talley is a small American company, founded over 40 years ago. They are experts when it comes to manufacturing and selling all kinds of mounts. Talley is famous for making very specific types of mounts and they manufacture mounts for rare rifles. Talley also makes mounts for 36-millimeter riflescope tubes which is very unusual for an American manufacturer. They have a reputation of being bold since they produce many items that other manufacturers don’t. They are famous for their hardened case color finish that is used on mounting rings. The colors seem to blend into each other, resembling an oil spill effect. They were the first company that developed Picatinny rails with built-in bubble levels.
