Sightron S-TAC models are variable magnification rifle scopes designed for hunting and target shooting. The bigger magnification rifle scopes feature a side focus turret for parallax adjustments from 9 yards to Infinity. The smaller magnification rifle scopes have fixed parallax at 100 yards (91 meters). 

The two medium range rifle scopes S-Tac 2-10x32 and S-Tac 3-16x42 feature a unique flip-up lever on the power ring for quicker and easier magnification adjustments. All Sightron S Tac rifle scopes feature Sightron's unique ExacTrack windage and elevation adjustment system, for which they claim that it is one of the most precise adjustments on the market. The reticle is placed in the second focal plane, so it is the same on all magnifications. It depends on the model if the rifle scope features a reticle illumination or it is non-illuminated. The turrets are adjustable in 1/4 MOA per click, and all models have turrets that are resettable to zero and are protected by rugged windage and elevation caps.
