Schmidt & Bender PM II ShortDot rifle scopes are wide angle scopes designed for close range tactical and competitive shooting, and with maximal magnifications it is even possible to engage medium range targets. On the lowest magnification you can use the scope as a red dot sign thanks to the CC mode (two models ), that means when you go under 1.1 magnification you simultaneously change even the parallax setting from 100m to 25 meters, what makes it much easyer to engage targets at close distance.
Schmidt & Bender PM II ShortDot rifle scopes feature also the nevest Flash Dot tehnology, the red dot is mirrored in the center of the reticle, it completely vanishes when it is turned off, so the normal reticle is visible with no black dot, where the red dot was. The red dot illumination is fully adjustible for use with night vision, or even to use on bright sunlight or even snow. Almost all Schmidt & Bender PM II Short Dot rifle scopes have a 30 mm main tube, for the lowest weight possible, only the 1.5-8x26 PM II ShortDot Model has a 34 mm main tube, for more elevation, designed for the G28 rifle in a 7,62mm caliber. All models in the ShortDot series of rifle scopes also feature single turn tactical lockable turrets, for quick elevation and windage adjustments.
The most Schmidt & Bender PM II Short dot rifle scopes can be mounted with 30mm rings, only the 1.5-8x26 PM II ShortDot model needs a 34mm mounting.
