Meopta Artemis 2100 are the upgraded version of Artemis 2000 rifle scopes. The difference between these two series is in the reticle, because in the Artemis 2100 the reticle is etched into the glass, so it is crisp at any magnification, and now all rifle scopes feature a reticle illumination that is usable in low light conditions.The illumination control is located on the opposite side of the windage turret (on the left side when looking from the eyepiece) and has 7 brightness settings, all for low light hunting. Illuminated is only a central dot, so the illumination won't blind you during low light hunting. The illumination control turret is nice and big, so it is easily reachable and tunable even when using gloves.

The turrets for zeroing are capped, so no accidental movement can occur. The main tube is made from steel from a single piece, so these are the only rifle scopes that are not made of aluminum. The clamping diameter is 30 mm, so mounting solutions for every weapon platform are available. In this series of rifle scopes there are two models available, a fixed power scope, Artemis 2100 7x50 RD, and one variable magnification rifle scope with 4 times zoom factor – Artemis 2100 3-12x50. This rifle scope has the reticle set in the first focal plane, so it changes its size simultaneously with the magnification. Because of this feature, the reticle is more visible in low light at bigger magnifications. 

All lens surfaces are multi-coated for better light transmission and contrast, filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging at low temperatures, and the entire housing is totally shock-proof, so these rifle scopes can be mounted even on the strongest recoiling hunting calibers. The warranty is 30 years, and the price/performance ratio is very high.
