Hawke Frontier 30 SF (side Focus) rifle scopes are the top end hunting rifle scopes from the company Hawke. These rifle scopes are made specifically for hunting use, and with 6 times zoom range these scopes are very suitable for different hunting situations. Both models that are curently available can be ordered wit a LR Dot reticle, that was designed for a typical .308 trajectory, which is very popular between hunters. The bigger model, Hawke Frontier 30 SF 5-30x50 can also be ordered with a TMX reticle, that is MIL based on 20 magnification, for easy holdovers and wind corections. Both reticles are set in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with magnification)
Both models have fully multi coated lenses with 21 layers of coating, which ensures good light transmission, contrast and resolution. The reticle is etched into glass to withstand big caliber recoil, and is illuminated with 11 brightnes settings in red color, that is usable in the dark and even at bright day-light.
The main tube is made from a single piece aluminum for more strenght, and the mounting diameter is 30 mm so many mounting solutions are available. The whole housing is filled for dry nitrogen to prevent internal fogging at low temperatures. The turrets are capped for protection against accidental movement, and the magnification ring is ruberized for easy use even with gloves. Hawke Frontier SF rifle scopes feature also a side parallax adjustment turret, that goes from 10 yards (9 meters) to infinity (2.5-15x50 model) and by the bigger model, Hawke Frontier 30 SF 5-30x50 the parallax adjustment goes from 30 yards ( 27 meters ) to infinity.
The Hawke Frontier 30 SF rifle scopes can only be mounted with 30 mm rings.
