Vanguard Spirit XF are extraordinary binoculars with budget-friendly price. These all-round binoculars are suitable for hunting, birdwatching and other nature adventures right up to twilight. They are build using the best material and designed with very durable and extremely rugged rubber armoring, which together with open-bridge design provides incredibly comfortable handling and portability. With the weight of only 665g (8x) or 700g (10x), the Spirit XF binoculars definitely represent one of the lightest full sized binoculars on the market, together with small dimensions that makes them family compact. They are also fully waterproof and fog-proof and offer great optical performance due to fully multi-coated system and phase correction.
As mentioned above, the Vanguard Spirit XF series can pride itself in extreme lightness and compact dimensions, which is very welcomed with the full-sized models used for longer time periods. This helps to store them and carry them without too much effort. They are enclosed in rugged armoring that is thick but very hard to protect the construction against bumps and bruises. Thumb depressors under both barrels are also really helpful when handling these Spirit XF binoculars. The armoring is extremely rugged which definitely helps with firm grip so they won’t fall out of your hands by accident. Together with shock-proof construction they are also sound-proof to ensure the quiet observations in the nature. They are also equipped with screw to mount them on a tripod. 100% waterproof construction is a result of tight seals that holds the construction together. They are also fog-proof to prevent internal condensation during temperature fluctuations. Spirit XF is definitely able to withstand the harshest weather.
Spirit XF comes with fully multi-coated lenses that helps to increase light transmission rate. Images are brighter and the anti-reflection ability of these coatings also helps with the color rendition, contrast and overall performance, with the help of BaK-4 prism glass and phase correction. Eyecups are quite strong and made out of metal for great durability. They are still comfortable when pressed against the face and offer twist-up mechanism so you can easily accommodate them for your own needs – very convenient for eye glass wearers too. The focusing mechanism is designed to take only one full turn (360°) to go from infinity to minimum distance. These quick and smooth adjustments are especially convenient in cold weather. The knob is also very grippy so it allows you to make adjustments firmly even with the gloves on. It is also fairly to mention great close focusing distance that helps you to see better up close.
Vanguard Spirit XF binoculars are equipped with objective and eyepiece lens covers for additional protection of the outer lenses. Neoprene neck strap is also included and has a clip that allows you to quickly release the binoculars. There is also padded carrying case included to store them.

Vanguard gives 10 years of Warranty for Spirit XF Binoculars. The company repairs or replaces damaged products, without charge. However, it doesn’t include No Fault Policy – doesn’t cover damages due to mishandling, misuse, neglect or accidental damage. You can claim the warranty with receipt as a proof of purchase. Wearing parts such as carrying straps, protective overs, armoring and cases are not covered under this warranty.
