PROSTAFF 7S series from Nikon offers binoculars for versatile application and everyday use in the nature. Extremely lightweight body and high-quality optical technology, together with waterproof and fogproof features offer great entry-level binoculars at affordable price. There are four models available, among which are two all-rounders and two compact models for solely daytime use. These versatile binoculars are suitable for bird watchers, hunters, hikers and other wildlife and nature adventures.
Beautifully designed Nikon PROSTAFF 7S is built out of ultra-light polycarbonate alloy chassis. This helps to decrease the weight but keeps the construction still durable thanks to reinforced fiberglass integrated in the housing. The lightweight body isn’t the only great ergonomics feature. The design of these binoculars is very sleek and slender and provides very comfortable wrap-around grip, which is also the result of the top-hinge design. The bridge is integrated more on the upper side, which helps the binoculars to lean more towards the face when looking through. PROSTAFF 7S is also enclosed into rubber armouring that is very thick and protects the construction against severe impacts. The armouring is also nicely rubberized on the sides to provide non-slip grip for carefree observations. These binoculars are incredibly well protected thanks to tightly sealed construction that blocks out the water, dust etc. This allows you to use them even in the most extreme weather conditions. They are filled with nitrogen to give you fog-proof housing to eliminate internal condensation, so your clear view will never be compromised even in the early mornings or late evenings.
PROSTAFF 7S provides incredible high-quality optics by using extra-low (ED) glass that significantly eliminates distortions such as chromatic aberration, giving you a razor sharp view-through. The lenses of this environmental-friendly ED glass are also fully multi-coated, which means all the surfaces integrate many layers of high-quality coatings. This provides PROSTAFF 7S with great light gathering ability, giving you bright and colorful images with rich contrast. The prisms are coated using high-reflective coatings and phase corrected to help with even better transmittance through all the visual spectrum. PROSTAFF 7S uses central focusing mechanism, with extremely grippy and large knob for comfortable, smooth and quick adjustments, even with the gloves on. The eyecups are rubberized and offer click-stop mechanism which allow you to get perfect eye-relief even if you are wearing eye glasses.
Nikon Prostaff 7s Binoculars are made in China. Prostaff 7s Binoculars are produced in Chinese factories where production costs are significantly cheaper. This allows Nikon to keep the cost of their binoculars down, making them more affordable.
The PROSTAFF 7S comes in a padded case for storage and additional protection. For carrying around the neck, the PROSTAFF 7S includes a padded strap for comfortable portability. There are also objective lens and eyepiece covers added for additional protection of the lenses.

Nikon offers 10 years of warranty for PROSTAFF 7S series with Ten-Year-Limited Warranty Card. For the first 5 years the repair or replacement are fully covered, and in the further five years only replacement materials are covered, the cost for repair work is however charged. The warranty claim is non-transferable and the proof of purchase must be presented. Nikon warranty doesn’t cover damages due to mishandling, misuse, neglect or accidental damage. Wear items such as lens covers, straps and cases are not covered.
