Vanguard Endeavor ED II Binoculars

Description of Vanguard ENDEAVOR ED II Binoculars

Vanguard Endeavor ED offers award winning binoculars made in Japan. This American manufacturer delivers great optical performance at attractive prices. You can choose between three models in the upgraded ED II series: compact 8x32 and all-round 8x42 and 10x42, suitable for everyday use of hunters, birdwatchers and other nature lovers that spend a lot of time observing the nature. Using HOYA ED glass for incredible clarity, phase correction and anti-reflection of fully multi-coated lenses provides incredible optical performance for every outdoor enthusiast. Great ergonomics with open-bridge design that help you with firm wrap-around grip and lightweight body due to magnesium alloy are another important features. They are also completely waterproof and fog-proof due to nitrogen filling and have twistable click-stop eyecups to make a proper eye-relief.

Basic Feature

Endeavor ED II, the successor of Endeavor ED integrates many improvements, such as black armor body instead of silver, to prevent shimmering that can drive away animals. Rubber armoring is rugged to help with a non-slip grip and also to protect the binoculars against accidental drops. They are therefore shockproof but also waterproof and fogproof. Using durable build materials that are able to tightly seal these binoculars together and nitrogen gas filling will help you with clear observations during rain, snow or quick temperature fluctuations in the nature. They are also very lightweight thanks to magnesium alloy chassis so they won’t cause too much fatiguing when carrying for longer periods of time. They are equipped with twistable eye-cups with three click-stop settings for perfect eye-relief adjustments without vignetting. They also offer central focusing mechanism, with grippy central focus knob that is well improved, and right-eye diopter to compensate for any differences between your eyes. Diopter in Endeavor ED II is upgraded with lock mechanism that prevents any sudden movements.

Optical Properties

Endeavor ED II offers BaK-4 phase corrected prisms and Extra-low (ED) dispersion glass to eliminate chromatic aberration. The anti-reflective coatings also improve light transmission rate and makes images incredible lifelike: colorful, rich in contrast and resolution. Images are much sharper due to this technology and provide above-average performance in low-light situations. They offer wider field of view, which is very convenient in more dynamic situations, where you have to quickly track and stay on the moving target. The great close focusing distance allows you to see objects up close, which is a great advantage when observing insects or small birds for instance.

Vanguard ED II binoculars are equipped with accessories such as objective and eyepiece lens covers, padded strap for carrying binoculars around the neck and case to store and protect them.
