    Nikon Standard Binoculars

Description of Nikon IF WP Binoculars

Nikon IF WP series offers classic Porro prism binoculars for professional use, suitable for wide range of applications. Whether you are hiking, traveling, mountaineering, watching birds, sailing, or observing the stars, the Nikon IF binoculars won’t break the bank. Extreme durability due to watertight and fog-proof construction, great compact ergonomics and high-quality optical performance are integrated in three different models for low-light observations thanks to 50mm and 70mm objective lenses. The smallest models use the SP acronym that stands for Superior Performance and the biggest model uses WF acronym which stands for Wider FOV.

    Basic Features

Nikon IF WP binoculars offer superior optics made in Japan and are one of the best in the market with Porro prism design. Although this design tends to feel slightly more stiff when handling if compared with roof prism design, they still feel incredibly comfortable when carrying for longer time. Nikon IF WP models offer individual focusing mechanism, so you can make adjustments for both eyes separately. This feature helps to make them more impervious and able to withstand a water depth of 5m with 18x70 and 2m with smaller models. The construction is not only waterproof but also filled with Nitrogen gas. This eliminates internal condensation and helps to prevent corrosion and molding even if you tend to use them in challenging weather conditions. They are also tripod adaptable and you can optionally add polarizing filter.

    Optical Properties

The optics in these series are optimized for astronomical applications, therefore use the technology to reduce the curvature of the field and thus offering images with amazing clarity. The glass integrated in this Nikon binoculars uses legendary ED or extra-low dispersion elements in the glass that significantly reduce chromatic aberration and help with crystal clear view-through. The IF WP SP models use multi-layers of coatings, but IF WP WF use fully multi-coated system that helps to increase brightness for perfect light transmittance even in the most challenging light conditions. You can easily observe the night sky and get the finest details, especially using 18x70 model which provides incredibly wide field of view to give you a feeling of sky-walking. This series offers brilliant images with great color rendering and rich contrast for exceptional observations. It offers longer eye-relief, so anyone is able to get a perfect eye-relief, even those wearing eyeglasses with foldable feature. They are also integrated with side flaps to help you block the light or the wind coming from the sides.

The IF WP binoculars come in a hard box-like leather case where you can store them. There are objective lens covers and rainguards added with removable side-flaps. There are also two straps included: neck strap for binoculars and strap to ease the portability.
