Vomz Pilad PV 1-7x25 ML

• 1-7x variable magnification: true 1x handling at the low end supports fast target acquisition at short distance, while 7x gives enough reach for more deliberate shots across open ground.
• Illuminated SFP reticle: the red illuminated reticle remains easy to pick up against dark game or shaded backgrounds, and its second focal plane layout keeps the reticle appearance consistent through the zoom range.
• 30 mm tube with capped turrets: the larger tube format provides a solid mounting standard, while capped adjustments help protect zero from accidental movement during transport and field use.
• Long eye relief: with 125.00 mm to 135.00 mm of eye relief, the scope gives generous headroom on rifles with noticeable recoil and supports a more forgiving shooting position.
• Fully multicoated, nitrogen-filled construction: multicoated lenses help maintain contrast and useful brightness, while nitrogen filling with waterproof and fogproof sealing keeps the optic dependable in changing weather.

About the Vomz Pilad PV Series

The Vomz Pilad PV series is the variable-power branch of the Pilad riflescope family, built for hunters and sport shooters who need one optic to cover more than one shooting distance. Within the VOMZ lineup, the PV models sit as practical all-round scopes that combine a flexible zoom range with straightforward controls and field-oriented durability. The series includes different magnification ranges and objective sizes, allowing shooters to choose a configuration that suits driven hunting, general stalking, or mixed-distance range work.

A defining trait of the series is its emphasis on usable, conventional riflescope design rather than overly specialized features. Pilad PV scopes use multicoated lenses to support image contrast and light transmission, and selected models are offered with illuminated reticles for better visibility in dim cover or against dark targets. The 30 mm format used within the range reflects a robust mounting standard common on hunting optics. Across the series, the design focus is on adaptable magnification, clear sight pictures, and dependable mechanics for rifles and shotguns, making the PV line a sensible fit for shooters who want one scope to handle close and medium-range work without unnecessary complexity.

About the Vomz Pilad PV 1-7x25 ML

The Vomz Pilad PV 1-7x25 ML is configured for shooters who need one riflescope for both rapid, close-range shooting and more precise aiming at moderate distance. Its 1.00-7.00 x magnification range is especially useful on hunting rifles used in mixed terrain: at 1x, the image stays natural and fast to read for moving targets, while 7x gives a clearer aiming picture when the shot slows down and placement matters more. That broad zoom span makes this model particularly well suited to driven hunts and general-purpose hunting optics roles.

The scope uses a 25.00 mm objective lens with fully multicoated optics, balancing compact front-end dimensions with enough brightness for daytime hunting use. An exit pupil range of 14.00 mm down to 3.50 mm helps the scope stay forgiving at low power and more precise at higher magnification. The red illuminated reticle improves reticle visibility in dark woodland, on shaded targets, or during poor weather, while the second focal plane layout keeps the reticle visually consistent as magnification changes. That makes the sight picture easy to interpret when switching quickly between powers.

Mechanically, this model favors secure field handling over exposed adjustment systems. Its capped turrets protect the settings from accidental movement, and the 0.10 MIL click value gives clean, practical corrections when zeroing. Fixed parallax at 100 m keeps operation simple, which suits a hunting scope intended to be fast and uncomplicated in use. With a 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, the PV 1-7x25 ML is built to stay functional in wet weather, temperature changes, and regular recoil exposure.

About Vomz

VOMZ began operations in Vologda, Russia, on October 16, 1971 and remains headquartered there. The company manufactures optoelectronic products for special-purpose and civilian applications, giving it a broad background in practical optical engineering rather than a narrow focus on one product type. Within its civilian range, VOMZ is known for Pilad-branded rifle scopes as well as optical, prism, and collimator sights.

The company is part of the Shvabe holding within the Rostec State Corporation, which places it inside a larger Russian optical and industrial group. For sporting optics, VOMZ has built its reputation around functional, durable sights intended for hunting and sport shooting. Its scopes are tested against recoil loads of 800 g, reflecting an emphasis on mechanical resilience that is directly relevant to riflescope use in the field.
