Great, but not perfect By

Before buying this for my wife, I found quite a few reports of NL Pure objective lens cover hinges that broke. However, she was adamant to have "the best" and was convinced that those were rare cases where people obviously mishandled the product.

Unfortunately, after only 3 months of use and despite her best efforts to take good care of her prized possession, the same happened to her and we are both obviously very disappointed. It is mind-blowing that Swarovski, with a reputation of making the best, would allow such a simple issue to continue tarnishing their good name instead of fixing it with urgency.

I have attached photos indicating the issue as well as my 7 year old entry-level Steiner for reference.
