This was also their first year attending the fair as exhibitors, which we were happy to see since our partnership with the company has a solid foundation. At this year&#8217;s IWA fair, Rusan unveiled the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/en\/rusan-modular-adapter-fixed-with-three-screws.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>fixed design of their modular adapter<\/strong><\/a> for clip-on systems and new Picatinny scope mount rings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NEW Rusan Modular FIX Adapter | IWA 2024 Report\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/G37nKibWaIQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Line of Modular Adapters From Rusan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The &#8216;new&#8217; line of adapters isn&#8217;t entirely new in terms of the product concept. Rusan has been producing their line of modular adapters for a while, but until now, they featured a Quick-Detachable lever mechanism. The updated version of the adapter now comes in a <strong>fixed configuration<\/strong>, meaning it can be attached to scopes using three screws that are tightened with the appropriate tool.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Rusan-Modular-FIX-Adapter-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5696503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Rusan-Modular-FIX-Adapter-5.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Rusan-Modular-FIX-Adapter-5-400x225.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Rusan-Modular-FIX-Adapter-5-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Rusan Modular Fixed Adapter<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While there is nothing wrong with the original lever design, which works perfectly fine, it turns out that some <strong>users still preferred a fixed solution <\/strong>as tightening the screws with a screwdriver does add an extra layer of security. Customers can still choose between the same sizes and use a number of different reduction rings. Naturally, the fans of the <strong>QD lever system<\/strong> do not need to worry, as it <strong>will stay in production <\/strong>together with the newly presented fixed version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price and Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rusan isn&#8217;t planning any price increases for the updated design since it essentially boils down to user preference and does not significantly affect production costs, no matter which design users opt for.
