As a well-respected manufacturer of red dot sights (RDS) in the market, their presence was hard to miss, likely due to it being one of the most crowded booths at the show. We had the opportunity to speak with Alex, who provided us with valuable insights into the latest additions to their product line which included <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/aimpoint-acro-p-2-available-in-new-colors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new colors in the P-2 series<\/a><\/strong>, a<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/the-new-aimpoint-3x-p-magnifier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3X-P Magnifier<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/en\/aimpoint-acro-s-2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Acro S-2 RDS series<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NEW Aimpoint Acro S-2 Red Dot Sight | SHOT Show 2024 Report\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Bx1s5z8Moi0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Features of Aimpoint Acro S-2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>2017<\/strong>, Aimpoint introduced the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/en\/aimpoint-micro-s-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Micro S-1<\/a><\/strong>, which quickly became a favoured RDS by many. The <strong>mounting system<\/strong> has been enhanced, featuring reinforced <strong>carbon fiber<\/strong> for strength and a minimal optical <strong>axis height<\/strong> of just <strong>15 mm<\/strong>. Upgrading from the first generation&#8217;s 6 MOA configuration, the S-2 steps <strong>up to a 9 MOA<\/strong> which is a welcome addition to the new series as it is a much bigger dot and easier to pick up. Aimpoint claims the RDS can deliver up to <strong>50,000 hours of continuous operation<\/strong> on a single battery, translating to over five years of use.
