IT MAY PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR EYES.<\/p>\n<h2>EYEPIECE FOCUSING<\/h2>\n<p>The eyepiece is designed to provide a precise fast focus at certain eye relief. The eyepiece will focus faster than your eye can compensate for any inaccuracy in your adjustment.<\/p>\n<h2>MOUNTING<\/h2>\n<p>The scope is installed on the gun by means of a pair of scope rings or a one-piece scope mount. Use quality scope rings or mount with a base designed to fit your particular rifle. The scope shall be mounted without touching either the barrel or the receiver. For safety reasons, allow at least 3 inches of clearance between the scope and your eyes when shooting. Slide scope forward or backward to acquire the proper eye relief that allows you to see the full field of view. Rotate the scope in the rings, make sure the reticle pattern is vertical\/horizontal to your sight and the elevation adjustment is on the top. Tighten all mounting screws to fix the scope firmly on the rifle. Don&#8217;t exceed 16 inches\/pounds of torque on the ring&#8217;s screws.<\/p>\n<h2>ZEROING<\/h2>\n<p>Minotaurriflescope features finger-adjustable audible-click elevation and windage adjustments. Elevation is the and-down) adjustment, usually on the top of the riflescope. Windage is the horizontal (left-to-right) adjustment,usually on the right of the riflescope. The scopes feature 1\/8 M.O.A(Minute of Angle) windage and elevation adjustment with audible clicks, meaning that 1 click moves the point of impact 1\/8 inch at 100 yards. With the riflescope mounted, rest the firearm onto a solid support and aim at a target 100 yards away. Slowly shoot a small 3 to 5 round test group onto your target. Adjust windage &amp; elevation screws in the direction you want to move the bullet impact. Each click of adjustment moves the point of impact. Shoot another 3 to 5 round test group. Repeat until you are satisfied with the point of aim.<\/p>\n<h2>VARIABLE MAGNIFICATION ADJUSTMENTS<\/h2>\n<p>To change magnification, simply rotate the Power Selector Ring to achieve the designed power with index dot. Generally speaking, lowest power to have the widest field of view for quick shots at close range. Higher power should be reserved for precise long-range shots.<\/p>\n<h2>PARALLAX SETTING<\/h2>\n<p>Parallax is a condition that occurs when the image of the target is not focused precisely on the reticle plane. Parallax is visible as an apparent movement between the reticle and the target. This side wheel parallax is designed for permission of precise focusing, while simultaneously readjusting the parallax free distance , for any range from 30 yards to infinity. One can look through the optical sight and turn the side focus ring until the target, at whatever range, is sharply focused. This feature makes the highly accurate side winder range of riflescopes ideal for both hunting and target purposes.<\/p>\n<h2>TURNING ON &amp; ADJUSTING THE BRIGHTNESS LEVEL<\/h2>\n<p>Located on the upper of the riflescope ocular lens, controls the reticle illumination.There are 10 brightness levels red and 1 NV level for Minotaur riflescope. Press the buttom to turn the illumination on. Go on pressing the switch will adjust the brightness level. You can adjust the brightness level to #11, which is the highest setting.<\/p>\n<h2>BATTERY EXCHANGE<\/h2>\n<p>Your riflescope illumination is powered by 1 pcs CR2032 button battery. Should the illumination grow dim or not turn on, you will need to exchange the battery. To exchange battery, use the proper screw driver to release the battery compartment cover. Remove the used battery, insert the new one. Screw on the cover again.<\/p>\n<h2>SEALED, WATER RESISTANT AND FOGPROOF<\/h2>\n<p>The scope is nitrogen-purged to remove any vestige of internal moisture, also has an O-ring to prevent the entry of dust or moisture.<\/p>\n<h2>MAINTENANCE<\/h2>\n<p>Your scope, though amazingly tough, is a precision instrument that deserves reasonable cautious care.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When cleaning the lens, first blow away any dirt and dust, or use a soft lens brush. Fingerprints and lubricants can be wiped off with lens tissue, or soft cleancotton cloth, moistened with lens cleaning fluid.<\/li>\n<li>All moving parts of the scope are permanently lubricated. Do not try to lubricate them.<\/li>\n<li>No maintenance is needed on the scope&#8217;s outer surface, except to occasionally wipe off dirt or fingerprints with a soft cloth.<\/li>\n<li>Use lens covers whenever convenient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>STORAGE<\/h2>\n<p>Avoid storing the riflescope in hot places, such as the passenger compartments of vehicles on hot days. The high temperatures could adversely affect the lubricants and sealants. A vehicle\u2019s trunk, a gun cabinet or a closet is preferable.
