The AccuStock is a unique and innovative stock system introduced by Savage in 2009. Unlike traditional methods of securing the action with screws, the AccuStock features a rigid aluminum chassis with pre-stressed side rails embedded in the stock throughout the length of the action and fore-end.

It is a lightweight yet durable stock system made of a polymer material. It uses a unique 3-dimensional engagement system that tightens the action along its entire length. By providing both vertical and horizontal pressure, the screws and pre-stressed rails create a perfect unity between the action and stock, resulting in increased resistance to heat and recoil.

AccuStock also features a steel block in the bottom of the chassis that engages the rifle’s recoil lug, preventing the action from shifting forward or backward. This ensures that the rifle stays securely in place, resulting in a more stable and accurate shooting experience.

In 2018, AccuStock got even further improved when the AccuFit was added, which is an innovative butt-stock system that lets you adjust the length of pull and comb height of your rifle all by yourself and, perhaps even more importantly, for free.
