Hello, I am having some problems mounting my Trijicon rmr to my Glock cut out slide. The holes on the slide line directly up with the holes an the rmr but are skinnier than the screws that I recieved for mounting the rmr. The screws that hold the slide cut out cap on and line up with the rmr mounting holes are to small in diameter. It would seem like if I ussed a narrower screw than provided to mount the rmr it would be to narrow and I am not finding any readily available or Maybee I just dont know where to look. Sorry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Which adapter do you have? Be so kind as to send an e-mail to: [email protected] and include an image of the problem (and the image of the adapter that you have).
Why are sight footprints such a tightly held secret? Is the RMR series compatible with any of the dozens of “standards” in the market? If so, which one(s)?
Yes, the manufacturers are quite secretive about the footprints of their red dot sights for some reason. This was the reason for us to start writing the main article and all the supporting articles such as this one. The red dot sights that share this mounting standard with Trijicon RMR are listed at the bottom of the article (but this is not all of them as we haven’t been able to acquire all of them).
i have a slide cut for the rmr optic is there a way to mount a holosun scs 320 to this slide?
SCS 320 has a Leupold Delta Point Pro mounting standard, so you need a converter plate (from Trijicon RMR to Leupold DPP). Unfortunately, we do not offer such a plate, but I am sure that somebody manufactures it.
