About Night Pearl
Night Pearl is a Czech company founded in the year 2000. It is a family-owned business, which is oriented in the production of night vision and thermal devices for hunting and law enforcement purposes.
The company has a great experience with night vision devices already since the beginning, and because of the great knowledge, they founded their own brand under the name Night Pearl in 2008. They established also a daughter company ZAHORI Rudel, which is responsible for sales to their partners and end customers.
The company has big new headquarters, which were renovated in the year 2016. New CNC machines, clean tables, professional workshops and many more were made during the renovation. Thanks to that, there is plenty of room for further expansion and place for bigger production capacity and development. The company has also its own underground shooting range, which is 50 meters long. There they test all of their products before shipping to the customers.
The philosophy of Night Pearl is to produce high-quality devices that are some of the best on the market, but still for an affordable price.
Product range
Night vision devices
Like mentioned, the company has a great experience with night vision devices already since the foundation in the year 2000. They produce night vision devices for all kinds of use, such as monoculars, clip-on devices, binoculars, NV goggles, and sights.
The one big difference to many other manufacturers is that the company uses image intensifier tubes from the well known European manufacturer Photonis, and also tubes from the East like the Russian manufacturer Kathod and Ekran. On request, they can build-in also image intensifier tubes from the 3rd generation, which is quite rare in Europe.
Because of their modern production and testing equipment, the company guarantees the highest precision in manufacturing and the highest quality of their end products. The housing of many of their products is made from established suppliers, which produce the parts for many other manufacturers as well. Thanks to that, the price is a lot lower as if they had to manufacture the housing in their own facility. The inner parts, on the other hand, are made in their own manufacturing facility under their high-quality standards. It’s important to say that only the inner optical parts of the device really matter.
Night pearl has also its own service department, so all defective products get repaired in their facility in the Czech republic by their own qualified service personnel. This guarantees a fast repair, so the customer gets the device back as quickly as possible.
Thermal devices
Night Pearl offers also a wide variety of thermal monocular devices, clip-on devices, and thermal sights. The monoculars are from 2 well-known manufacturers – Iray and Guide. Whatsoever, after delivery, the devices are completely disassembled, all the parts go through a quality check, and if everything is OK, the devices get reassembled. Also the software is refined and custom settings are installed for better image processing, maximum image quality and new parameters are added.
The devices are available in different price ranges, from very affordable devices that are designed for hobby use and hunting, up to expensive professional devices for military, police and law enforcement.

The flagship of thermal devices from this company are now definitely the Seer and Oracle devices. They feature a similar housing and are available in 2 objective sizes. They are made completely from high-quality aluminum, which makes them extremely robust, and they can withstand even the strongest calibers on the market without failing under heavy recoil. The construction is very small and compact, and the weight is extremely low – they measure from only 445 up to 485 grams.
All Seer and Oracle devices feature the 384×288 pixels ceramic ASi sensor with 17μm pixel size. The refresh rate of 50Hz (PAL), 60 Hz (NTSC) provides a smooth real-time image. For the best image possible, a color 1024×768 pixels OLED display is installed, which can withstand even the coldest temperatures of -40°C and up to +60°C. The big advantage of these devices is the joystick, with which you can enter the menu and change all the parameters. This is extremely easy and intuitive, and very easy to use in complete darkness.
All these devices are tested on the shooting range before shipping, so the company guarantees the shipped devices meet their standards, and that they don’t fail when mounted on the rifle. The clip-on devices are pre-zeroed, so the user doesn’t need to adjust any settings. They can be mounted on different rifles without any change of the point of impact, but in the menu also a zeroing option is available if the user wants to make small corrections.
Night Pearl has also a different thermal sight in their offer, the TS445. From the design, it has no similarities to the Oracle devices since the housing is completely different. Also the internals are different than in the Seer and Oracle devices. This thermal sight is a suitable solution for middle-range hunting.
Also for thermal imaging devices, the company has its own service department. Like the night vision devices, also these are getting repaired right in their facility, so a fast service is guaranteed. A big difference to other manufacturers that offer Guide and Iray devices is that Night Pearl repairs all of their monoculars in-house, like the Scoops 19 that was sent back to the factory because a dog was thinking that is a toy to play with. The dog damaged the entire housing and has eaten the ocular. The service department of Night Pearl has replaced the parts and send the device back to the customer, but they kept the damaged parts to show it to us. We’ve made also a photo of the device, so you can imagine how the device looked like.
Because all Night Pearl devices are extremely durable and can withstand a lot of torture, they are very popular among professional users such as the military and law enforcement. The biggest market of the company are the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but the fastest-growing market is currently Germany.
Conclusion
We were very impressed by the company and its products. We can also say that thermal vision is the future since the technology is rapidly progressing, the sensors are getting better and better, and the companies are developing new ways to improve their products.
Because the technology is going on so fast, we think that analog night vision devices will get cheaper every year, despite the great quality of the image and some advantages they provide against thermal vision.
In the future Night Pearl wants to expand the offer of their own products, so we are very excited about what will come. We think that Night Pearl has great potential since they have a lot of knowledge and experience, and of course, the building they are in is extremely big and has enough room to do so. Because the EU is working on the change of legislation, the company expects the market to grown even faster.
