Hikmicro, one of the biggest manufacturers of thermal imaging devices around the world, recently launched a product that has opened the world of thermal vision to a broader audience. Even though several affordable thermal devices have been introduced in the last few years, none of them can compare with the all-new Hikmicro LYNX LC06 monoculars by price.

Lynx LC06 50 Hz refresh rate and detection
One would expect rather poor performance for this price, but this is not the case with the thermal monocular Hikmicro. The image on Hickicro Lynx LC06 is fluent, without delay – the product boasts a 50 Hz refresh rate. At 1x magnification, the image is clear with a wide field of view. The user can choose among 4 colour modes. Set the diopter with the wheel next to the ocular and the appropriate brightness and contrast value in the menu. The heat can be detected up to approx. 500 m, whereas the observed animal can be identified up to 70 m away.

It is almost impossible to expect multimedia capabilities for this price. This Hikmicro handheld – thermal monocular camera has proven otherwise. With Lynx LC06 monoculars you capture images and record videos. For an even better user experience, install the T-Vision app on your smartphone. Hikmicro Lynx LC06 allows you to capture images, record videos, and manipulate with some other functions of the handheld thermal imaging monocular via the mobile phone. You can download the images and videos to the computer with a USB-cable.
One of the better functions is the ‘Hot Spot Mark’ – when turned on, a ‘+’ shaped mark appears on the image, pointing at an object with the highest temperature. Thermal imaging is great for detection as it is, but the Hot Spot Mark function will further simplify the procedure.
