Welcome to Optics Trade debates. In each episode, we talk about a different topic and try to answer the most common questions we receive about it. Today, we are going to talk about the differences between the Aimpoint Hunter H30 and the Aimpoint 9000.
The H30 has a window that's a little bit bigger than on the 9000, even though both devices have a 30 mm tube. The definition of the dot is superior on the Hunter models and is easier to use with both eyes open.
The compared models use different types of batteries. The 9000 uses a 2L76 or DL1/3N type battery and the H30 uses a more standard CR2032 type. The battery life is the same on both devices, about 50,000 h on intensity level 7.
