Delta Stryker HD 4.5-30x56 achieved immense success in the world of sports optics since its initial launch, but the trends in the industry are evolving lightning fast. Delta realizes that to stay at the top, you need to be able to adapt. This is why they are introducing the new tactical Delta Stryker HD 3.5-21x44 model. It is a lighter and especially more compact version of its widely successful predecessor, and it keeps the Stryker HD series up with the ever-changing times and trends. It brings Delta into the mid-range field, which we have all been waiting for.
Main Features
Delta Stryker HD 3.5-21x44 is a MIL/MIL-type compact tactical riflescope. It is most likely going to see most use with light tactical rifles, but that is not to say that some users will not use it for hunting as well. This is especially true due to a wide FOV at the lowest 3.5x magnification.
The magnification ranges from 3.5x to 21x, and the parallax ranges from 9 m to infinity. In our opinion, this scope will be often combined with clip-on night-vision or thermal attachments due to its intended range of use.
At higher magnification the shooter will see the classic Christmas tree reticle in 1ST Focal Plane (FFP). The latter is illuminated, but the same as with other Stryker HD scopes, this one, too, only has a low-light illumination.
Design
One of the first things you’re going to notice about the new Delta Stryker HD 3.5-21x44 is its compactness. It is only 325 mm long and weighs 790 g.
The lens diameter was chosen to be 44 mm from the more common 50 mm. One thing that hasn’t significantly changed are the turrets, though. They feature the same zero stop and precise clicks as the older model, but the windage turret is now capped.
If there is one thing we would change about the Stryker HD 3.5-21x44 is its classic line turn indicator. We would switch it with a mechanical one if it were up to us, but this is a purely subjective opinion, and we understand how some might disagree with us.
The Price of the New Delta Stryker HD 3.5-21x44 Riflescope
We can not fully confirm the price of the new Delta Stryker HD scope yet, but we suspect that its price will range from roughly 1800 to roughly 2000 €.
Conclusion
Considering that Delta Stryker HD is a very popular series of riflescopes, we are glad to see that Delta are doing their best to keep it up to date. The new Delta Stryker HD 3.5-21x44 will have no trouble finding its place in the market.
