Vortex Venom Red Dot

Bought two of these. One for a Volquartsen Black Mamba and one for a CZ Shadow 2 OR. Both have been awesome. 3 MOA for the Volquartsen for target shooting and 6 MOA for the Shadow for Steel Challenge and IPSC. After using both I would go for the 3 MOA for both if I purchased again. The brightness is excellent and it is easy to up the brightness to make the dot really stand out for quick acquisition. Some have commented negatively on the battery compartment. No problems with mine. Just a dab of loctite has kept it in place without a problem. Over 2000 rounds through the Shadow and 1000 plus on the Volquartsen. Excellent.

Over 15 000 shoots on Canik TP9 SFX and CZ P10c OR. I had to correct the dot placement once. No complains at all, even though few of my friends lost the dot on their Venoms and switched to other brand. I will buy a second one with pleasure, but they are not available...... few months for delivery.
Vortex VIP warranty is sth unique - and one of greatest cons of this company.

Too fragile for combat use.
The dot is hard to find.

What A great red dot sight. Placed it on my Ruger SR-22 and it works perfectly. I am very happy with its performance.

I now own 2 venoms, one on a AR15 on 45 degree mount and one on my rem870 i shoot slugs only and both held zero without problems...this says enough...

I putted the Vortex Venom on an Glock 34 Mos. The screws which were supplied didn't fit the Mos-plate of Glock. It's a pity that Glock doesn't make a Mos-plate for Vortex... Vortex-reddots a super... I'm a Vortex-fan...

Vortex Venom milled on my Glock 21 (45 ACP) slide, shoot 1000 rounds and it is still holding aim, excellente sight :-)
