Zeiss Classic Diavari 2.5-10x50 T* illum. is probably the best choice for stalking, mountain hunting and occasionally low light hunting . It is compact but it also has useful 10x magnification and for low light use it has large 50mm objective lens and illuminated reticle. Zeiss Classic Diavari riflescopes are constructional very similar to Zeiss Victory Diavari but are without properties that are reserved only for the most expensive Zeiss models. The reticle is seated in the first focal plane and is very useful for hunting in poor light conditions. The only exception is the Zeiss Classic Diavari 1 - 4x24 riflescope intended for driven hunts and close range shooting, with the reticle seated in the second focal plane. All Zeiss Classic Diavari riflescopes are filled with dry nitrogen to prevent dew accumulation at low temperatures and have the Zeiss T* coating on all lens surfaces to ensure excellent light transmission in the dark and good image sharpness with low chromatic aberration. They are available with or without illumination of the reticle. The robust housing made from one piece ensures perfect alignment of the reticle even on the most powerful rifles. Zeiss Classic Diavari riflescopes are also very useful for users with glasses since they have adjustable oculars for a dioptre range from – 4 to +2. The M marks stand for Zeiss Classic Diavari riflescopes that have a mountable steel rail on the housing.
